I know what it’s like to not be picked for the team.
Being 5 foot 1, no-matter how nimble I am, I’m never picked for basketball, rarely for most sports in fact, except where I have a buddy out front who’ll sentimentally call me in.
And I am reminded of this as I carve a career for myself, stubbornly calling wealth and wellbeing to the same table.
Diehard wellbeing advocates almost regard money as a spiritual sleight of hand, a trick or temptation not to fall into.
And those pursuing wealth, often bargain with wellbeing, promising to return later and rest, when they arrive at their destination.
So as a wealth and wellbeing advocate, A Well-th Coach in fact, I specialise in this unlikely blend.
I help stressed out, burned out, bored business owners and employees find peace and purpose again.
And I help the “worried well” build a life of security through removing money blocks and finding an appreciation in wealth that is worthy of their efforts.
When we think of wellbeing – mindfulness, meditation, prayer, exercise, rest, nutrition and gratitude all make the team. But wealth remains on the bench, rarely included in the game.
I am on a crusade to correct this.
Not because I am necessarily passionate about money, but because I am passionate about the right of every person to feel confident enough to make, keep and grow their income. I think all adults have the right to see and access the money they earn. And I do have a thing for female financial independence. Regardless of how much you earn, knowing that you have the capacity to do so, is incredibly helpful for confident decision making.
- What have you turned a blind eye to in your life lately?
- Do you ever bargain with time, making promises you’ll return later?
- Think carefully about where you place your resources and they will reward you tenfold.
